Representative Survey Projects
TEPPCO
Route selection, easement verification, construction and
as-built surveys of a 68 mile project for three 12-inch
parallel pipelines. Work included locating alternatives and
final route through the congested areas of Port Arthur and
Mont Belvieu.

Lavaca Pipe Line Co.
Preliminary route selection and easement/permit surveys
for a 45 mile 12-inch pipeline project from Mont Belvieu to
Texas City. Route included multiple water crossings
including the Houston Ship Channel and
placement through congested pipeline and power line
corridors.

Himont USA, Inc.
Preliminary design, construction, and as-built survey of
approximately 26 miles of 8-inch pipeline located within
existing pipeline corridors including the heavily congested
corridors of the Houston Ship Channel area. This survey also
included survey across the Houston Ship Channel and Crystal
Bay.

Coastal Oil & Gas Corp.
Various surveys including boundary, route selection,
location, topographic, and cross-country for the Javelina
Project. This project consisted of the survey for 17 lines
ranging in size from 3-inch to 30-inch in the extremely
congested refinery areas of Corpus Christi. It also
consisted of a 6-inch line crossing I-37 to Robstown and a
6-inch line crossing the Corpus Christi Ship Channel and
Nueces Bay to Ingleside, Texas
Transpetco
Route selection, construction, and as-built survey for
approximately 120 miles of 8-inch carbon dioxide pipeline.
The project originated in New Mexico, traversed the Texas
Panhandle, and terminated in the Oklahoma Panhandle near the
Oklahoma-Kansas border.

Petro Source Carbon Company
Preliminary, construction, and as-built survey for
approximately 82 miles of 10-inch carbon dioxide pipeline.
The project traversed the West Texas counties of Terrell,
Pecos, Crockett, and Upton. The project was accomplished
utilizing a combination of conventional, total station, and
GPS surveying methods.

Burlington Northern/Santa Fe
Utility survey in highly congested pipeline corridors
for a new rail line. Thirteen mile route included passage
through petrochemical plants. Static control and RTK GPS was
utilized.

Route selection, preliminary survey, construction
staking and as-built survey of 12 mile CO2 production and
injection piping utilizing both conventional and GPS
equipment. Data transferred via electronic files
for processing and mapping.
